Life brings many challenges, and we might, understandably, seek support in navigating them at times. However, having the courage to share our issues and challenges can be incredibly difficult.
Often, we can suppress our feelings of unhappiness, but deep down, we can feel the pain from our past or the anguish from our current problems. Even if we do have someone to talk to, we can feel unable to share the truth for fear of hurting others or being judged by them if they were to know how we really feel.
As a registered integrative therapist, I draw on Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches, along with Systemic Therapy, which considers the impact of your past, the relationships between people, and how those relationships impact you. I also use my knowledge of the nervous system and neuroscience to help you understand how your brain and body work together, promoting a sense of safety and self-connection.
My approach nurtures a way for you to gain deeper self-awareness and understand how our bodies and minds work. This enables you to make meaningful choices and discover new ways of responding and relating to the world. When we do, we not only build resilience but can thrive and, over time, find a sense of peace and growth.
Finding yourself reading this suggests you have taken the first step along the path to a better tomorrow, so please get in touch to arrange an initial discussion.
When life is challenging, I aim to make a positive difference by helping you gain insight and strengthen your inner resources and resilience. Guided by your individual needs, I can help explore your experiences, gain clarity, and develop healthy coping strategies to manage whatever difficulties you may face.
