Perhaps you're anxious, overwhelmed or exhausted. Maybe your confidence has changed, you're constantly overthinking, or you're finding it difficult to understand why you don't feel happy when, on the surface, everything seems fine.
Or perhaps your relationship has become difficult, and you're caught in the same arguments, feeling unheard, disconnected or unsure how to move forward.
You don't have to work it all out on your own.
I'm Danielle Templar-Coates, a BACP-Accredited psychotherapist offering individual and couples therapy from my private practice in Solihull, as well as online therapy.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
When you're tired of holding everything together.
You may be managing work, family and everyday life while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, unhappy or stuck.
Perhaps you're struggling with your confidence, constantly overthinking, putting everyone else's needs before your own or finding yourself repeating patterns that you don't understand.
Therapy provides a confidential space to slow things down, make sense of what you're experiencing and understand yourself more deeply so you can begin to make changes that feel right for you.

COUPLES THERAPY
When the same arguments keep happening.
Perhaps you've found yourselves caught in repeated arguments, resentment or defensiveness. You may feel unheard or misunderstood, emotionally disconnected, or uncertain about how to rebuild trust and intimacy.
Couples therapy offers a safe, supportive space to understand the patterns between you, communicate differently and begin to move forward together.

Not sure whether I'm the right therapist?
Let's have a short conversation first. You can tell me a little about what's bringing you to therapy, ask any questions and decide whether you'd like to take things further.
I understand that reaching out can feel daunting. You might be asking yourself:
Do I really need therapy?
Will I be judged?
Will it even help?
These are all normal questions. You don't have to be in crisis to start therapy. You might just be feeling a bit lost, unsure, or tired of coping on your own. That's enough of a reason.
Head over to my My Approach page for a more detailed breakdown of how I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist in Solihull and online.
Taking the first step can feel hard - but you're very welcome to reach out. I offer a free, informal call so you can ask any questions you may have and get a sense of whether therapy with me feels like the right fit. If you'd prefer, you can fill out the booking form to request a call-back at a time that works for you.
All enquiries are treated with care and kept strictly confidential. I aim to respond within 48 hours. If there are any times it's not appropriate to leave a message, please let me know - I'm happy to contact you at a time that feels safe and comfortable for you.
Starting therapy is a meaningful commitment to yourself, and I want the process to feel as clear and supportive as possible from the start.
Individual counselling sessions are £70
Couples counselling sessions are £100
Payment is usually made by bank transfer before each session. I'll share the details with you when we begin working together.
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. This helps me offer the time to others who may be waiting. If less notice is given, the full session fee will still be payable.
If you have any questions or concerns about payment or scheduling, please don't hesitate to get in touch - I'm happy to talk it through.
I offer confidential face-to-face sessions at my private practice in Solihull. The practice is quiet and peaceful, with plenty of parking and easy access to public transport.
In addition to face-to-face therapy, I offer online sessions via Zoom for clients in Solihull and beyond. Contact me to learn more about online therapy.
