Life brings many challenges, and at times, we might understandably seek support in navigating them. Often, we can suppress our feelings of unhappiness, but deep down, we can feel the pain from our past or the anguish from our current problems. Even if we have someone to talk to, we can still feel unable to share the truth for fear of hurting others or being judged by them if they were to know how we truly feel.
Perhaps you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, feeling like you're not good enough, or like you're failing in some part of your life - relationships, work, parenting, or just being yourself. Perhaps there's sadness or anger you don't fully understand, or a heaviness you've been carrying for so long that it feels like an integral part of who you are.
My therapy opens up a place where you can come to make sense of what's affecting you and start to explore your feelings in a space that I hope feels comfortable, non-judgmental and safe. As someone independent and outside of your day-to-day life, my approach helps you gain deeper self-awareness, enabling you to make more meaningful choices and discover new ways of responding and relating to the world.
I understand that reaching out can feel daunting. You might be asking yourself: Do I really need therapy? Will I be judged? Will it even help?
These are all normal questions. You don't have to be in crisis to start therapy. You might just be feeling a bit lost, unsure, or tired of coping on your own. That's enough of a reason.
We can begin with a free 15-minute phone or Zoom call. It's a chance to get a feel for each other and see if working together feels like a good fit. There is no pressure or obligation.
Head over to my My Approach page for a more detailed breakdown of how I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist in Solihull and online.
